Participate in our February outreach to Congo Hospitals as we rip and roll sheets for bandages, and sew baby layettes.
This Thursday, Feb. 7, all ages are invited to join the Arigaa young adults group from 5:30-9:30 for a soup/salad potluck dinner and project work night.
On Saturday, February 9, from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., we'll have a ladies only gathering to enjoy each other and work on bandages/layettes.
You can bring a dessert or snack to share on Saturday. Come when you can and help as you are able.
We still need clean sheets to rip for bandages. Bring to one of the work sessions or drop off in the green tub in the foyer. Can be any color or print. If you have a sewing machine we can use during our work sessions, please let Kristi Ivanoff (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Kate Cannon (email@example.com) know.
We hope we'll have many contributors from our congregation. I imagine we will have regular and occasional contributors. If you'd like to contribute a poem, a photo, a devotion or anything that you believe enhances our life together, please contact pastor Phil to learn about posting.
